GEORGE,
WAS MY GRANDAD WHO WORKED ALL HIS LIFE AS A WIRE WEAVER AT THOMAS LOCKERS IN WARRINGTON.
HE WAS A KEEN PIANIST & HE GAINED HIS SCHOLARSHIP IN MUSIC (CAP & GOWN) STUDYING CHOPIN FOR HIS DEGREE, HE ALSO PLAYED THE PIANO AND PIANO ACCORDION AT PUB VENUES AROUND WARRINGTON.
HE WAS A KEEN FAN OF WARRINGTON RUGBY LEAGUE & HE ENJOYED A FLUTTER ON THE HORSES, AND LOVED GARDENING.

The Choirboys sang 'O Holy Night'
It brought a tear to my eye
It brought back the memories of you and me
And our Christmas's gone by
Their beautiful voices echoed all around the church
They were singing like angels above
I knew i wasn't the only one that night
Who was missing someone they love
As the choirboys voices silenced
The gathering stood silent and still
The Priest said that was for your angels
As hurting eyes began to fill
He told us our angels were by our side
I wish that was so true
Because if they were here with us now
We wouldn't feel the hurt we do
We left the church that evening
Knowing others were feeling the same way
And they'll be missing someone that they love
When they awake on Christmas Day
So as always Our Heavenly Angels
Will be remembered again this year
And we'll go through another Christmas time
Just wishing we had you here
